Sistema Frontal deja graves daños en el sector frutícola: Habrá menos volumen de producción y exportaciones

El sistema frontal que afectó la zona centro-sur del país, durante el pasado fin de semana, con zonas que en algunos casos vieron lluvias de hasta 70 mm, dejó serios daños en los cultivos frutícolas. Hecho que fue informado por Ronald Bown Fernández, presidente de la Asociación de Exportadores de Frutas de Chile AG (ASOEX), quien manifestó la preocupación que existe en el sector, dada la dimensión de los daños, que hasta la jornada de ayer se visualizaban, especialmente en frutas como la uva de mesa, arándanos y carozos en plena temporada de producción y cosecha.

The unusual rains recorded last week in central Chile caused significant damage to producers in the area.
